The Impatient MeI am practically wasting my time looking for a scanner software. Grrrr... I badly need to use our scanner now. And I think the CD that contains all the drivers and the softwares for our scanner/printer is in the cabinet that is locked.
I think I have to remind myself a million times that patience is a virtue. But I think, wa epek.

Yahoo! End of the month again, and that means it's a payday! Technically, I won't receive my pay yet if I will not complete my reports for this month. End of the month also means its time to pay the bills again, from rent to my apartment to my credit card bills. I have to be responsible in paying these bills, especially my credit card bills or of if not, I will better be start checking bad credit cards and start redeeming myself.

I want a 3.5-inch screen display, touch screen controls; 8GB flash memory with 2 mega pixel camera iphone. No, just kidding. Maybe, in the future, but right now, I still have to research with iPhone's features and what makes it unique from other phones. I don't know much about it yet, though I heard a lot about iPhone already. I just don't want to buy something because it's an "in" thing, but I have to check if it's really useful for me.
My being a gadget freak occurred while browsing the Pure Mobile website that sells different brands of phones and accessories. It's not that I am not happy with my Sony Ericsson phone right now, but I've been really wanting to own a flip phone ever since. I was just amazed on the different models invented by different leading brands like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Motorolla and a lot more. I can still remember four hours ago, that I can easily identify a phone's model by the look at it, but seeing the hundreds of model now, I just doubt if I can still name each one.
I also browsed some unfamiliar brand to me like lg cell phone. I would say, I heart the LG mobile shine KE970. I think it will just express the woman in me. I also browsed with htc touch and I think, mostly businessman uses these kinds of models. Hmm.. I’ll probably be using these kinds of cellular phones in the near future. There are also wide array of cool accessories for your phone in case you need one. So, if you happen to be a gadget freak like me, I am sure you will enjoy browsing (and probably later on buying) the site. And, they also have this Live Help, so you can chat with their customer service anytime in case you need help.

Two of my close friends in high school will also join the 2008 wedding mania. Irene, with her Danish(?) boyfriend will be coming home this May and have their wedding in Bohol by May 24. Juliet, who is in Alaska right now with his boyfriend, will have their wedding in Las Vegas this August 8, 2008, and that makes it a triple 8! Yes, I am invited, but, I can only imagine attending the wedding, while staying in a posh Las Vegas hotel. Hehehe.

I am not being KJ, but, maybe, it's too early to feel the excitement especially when you are in the middle of work. My father always told us to invest in real estate, something that will appreciate as time passes by. That's why, just the other month, my sister and I bought a small piece of land in Bohol. My sister was offered with that same land before and the price then is much more cheaper than the price now. As what my sister told me, she doesn’t have any money yet at that time, so, she really can't do anything about it even if she wanted to buy that time. There's no concrete plan on what to do with the lot yet, but, at least, even if we are not using it yet, we know that its value does not depreciates. At first, my sister planned to buy a property in Manila, but properties in the big city are way much expensive compared to smaller cities. Though what we bought now is not in Manila, but still it’s in a smaller city.
Whether you want to build a house or a commercial building in your land, or even decided not to do something about it yet, you can be sure that it will really save you in case you indulge into business someday. Friends ForeverI received an email from a long-time friend last night who happened to be at the other side of the world. And I was speechless and overwhelmed on what she wrote to me. Well, I am not sure if those are the right words to express how I felt, but, in general, what she did made me feel good. I never thought she will still remember and consider me amidst her happy state right now.
She's indeed one of the few real people I am glad I bumped in this lifetime.

Sometimes, I just can't believe on stories that rich people have a large amount of debts too. They said, businessmen are really like that. They will borrow large amount of money, invest it, and usually, if managed well, money will be doubled in a short period of time.
I can't forget during my college years when I had an interview for my scholarship application. And since the family's financial situation is one of the criteria on determining your scholarship bracket, I was very much open with my family's debts and my parent’s income hoping I will land on a higher bracket of the scholarship. But, the sarcastic staff (UPians, remember that girl?) just simply told me that we are probably rich because we have debts and banks grant us a loan. I was so furious that time. Well, I think a lot of UPians were pissed of her. Well, I was happy that I got the scholarship, but it was not on the bracket that I was aiming for.
Well, enough of that experience. What I learned is that rich and poor people alike have debts and it all depends on each one of us on how to handle debt management.
I have read in Blogger's blog that one of their oldest serving member in Blogger, Graham Waldon resigned this month. His reason is that he thinks it's time for a change after 4.5 years of serving Google. No, he doesn't have any other job offer and still thinks that Google is still the best place to be.
Just like any other member of the work force, I believe each one of us experienced resigning and hopping from one company to another. In my case, I felt it's always a risk to resign from a job that I've been really getting used to for the past years in my life. But, it's in taking the risk that you will learn and discover a lot of things. I am always grateful in my previous companies, but I am more grateful that I took such risk in moving on. I wouldn't have knew these amazing things I learned right now if not with my courage to close a chapter in my life and open an unknown door.
So, if you feel like moving on, (also applies to relationships and matters of the heart) all you need to do is take that one brave step.

For us who really work everyday for a living, we are not allowed to get sick, or else, we will have a very big problem in our monthly budget. And not only that, we will also shell out money for medicines once we get sick. Good thing if we save money for unexpected expenses, so, that will really help. But, we will never know how much we will spend when one get sick. And what about if you will meet an accident while performing your job? We might not want these kinds of scenarios to happen in our lives, but nothing is impossible. We can never tell what will happen in the future. All we can do is prepare.
But, have you heard about accident compensation? When you suffered an injury or illnesses resulting from employment, you still have a compensation right. These kinds of injuries will lead you to loss of earnings and will result to financial difficulties. You can even get free legal services that will willingly give you honest professional advice. As an employee, we should know our rights when these kinds of cases happened. So, when it occurs, we know what to do and we know where to go.

No, I haven't experienced being a call center agent, but my sister does. There are lots of job opportunities in a call center, but not all can qualify. It's a "Many are called, but few are chosen" scenario for this kind of jobs. I admit if I were to apply for this position, I still doubt that I could get it. That's why, I have a high regard on this kind of job especially from all the things my sister told me.
Aside from you have to have a "speaking skills", you also need to have people skills, with a lot of patience inside. If you are good in marketing, you might be good in the sales marketing doing some telemarketing and as what my sister have told me, those who are assigned to this department earned more since they will get an extra compensation for every sold products or services. And yes, prepare yourself for irate customers and to customers who can't easily understand. That's why, an extensive training is really a must before agents will be deployed live. Besides, they are the front liner and play a great role for the success of a business like getting a high sales and getting more customers.
No wonder, being an agent pays well.

I am not expecting an instant forgiveness too, but I can always wait. And as what Lea said:

It only occurs to me sometimes that indeed, I am already a responsible, and mature grown-up especially when I think and prepare of my future. I see myself now as a very motivated career woman, but, how far can I go? Should I always see myself working for a living for the rest of my life? Well, NO. I dream of traveling and see the world. I dream of having my own comfortable home. I dream of having a family of my own that I will treasure and love so much.
I know, I am far from that dream yet, but this early, I am already doing my readings regarding asset and wealth management and I am also attending some talks regarding these stuffs. I have also read about Northern Trust, a reliable provider of banking, asset management and asset servicing. Anything you want to know about financial report, they will give it to you.
Oh, I know I sound like a real grown-up again.
When I applied for HSBC credit card, I really chose their HSBC Mabuhay card with the free plane ticket perks in mind. But, when I claim my ticket the other month, I was just surprised that I have to pay for the tax which is approximately 1500PHP. Geez... I don't know that. They could have warn applicants from the very beginning that they have to pay for the tax to save unsatisfied customers later on. Well, these are just the BS in marketing their business... I should have known that.

To those who have tried applying a life insurance, maybe you have experienced hassles in the process of the application. You still have to take the medical exam with all the urine testing, blood testing, etc. Does the process have to be like that? Can't we just take a life insurance no exam policy? I just had a quick vacation last weekend, and it was crazy. For a short period of preparation, and just few days actual vacation, I will say, it's exciting, even if it's really tiring. I would say I don't mind doing that kind of adventure again. One of my next dream adventures will be in Spain and get a car hire Spain, and roam around the beautiful spots of the country. I would also love to go specifically in Alicante and Madrid and get a car hire Alicante and car hire Madrid respectively. It would be really great to learn more about the people and the place of this country. I know, a lot of our traditions are Spanish influenced, and it's just nice to know its origin and roots.
So, Spain, here I come!

Time For SleepThinking of all the work I do everyday, I think I deserve a grandiose sleep too every time I went home in my apartment. Now, I am thinking of buying this bed, with a comforter that will keep me warm in this cold weather. I think the bed is pretty affordable. See picture below to appreciate my dream bed. I'll probably be buying this next month just right time for my payday. This time, I don't need to feel guilty, because I think I deserve this. Time to dispose my old bed I guess. Yeehey! This is really something to look forward for, and something to inspire me to work harder.

For the past 2 days, earning opportunities are overflowing, but, just like any other opportunities, you can't have them all. All you can do is choose what you think is best, and then, leave other opportunities for other seekers. Today alone, I had 14 opportunities, but, I can only take 3 of them. I think this kind of rule is just fair enough.
I wish everyday is like this. Business is good this time of the year. :)
If I were not in my field right now, I think I’ll probably be in the business world. I always see myself doing good in talking to people, and selling something. I think I can do my spiels well, and let them buy on whatever products I sell.
That’s why, sometimes, made me think I’ll probably be taking short courses in business or management if I am really serious in this. I think there are training agents who will handle different courses like sales courses, Plumbing Courses and management courses. So, I think this is one project I’ll have for this year.

Any company would really look for secure and fast solutions for their company. Security is a number one concern even if you are accessing your servers anywhere. I can still remember that it really took me awhile to access through SSH or FTP remotely because I can't get in through the servers because our System Administrator just made sure that the connection is secure, so I was really pissed that I have to go to our office any time of the day (yes, even at dawn) just to connect to our servers. Well, those were the days... I am glad I'm done with it.

Maybe you have heard about the Pino Restaurant in Lahug, and been there twice already. Food is ok and so is the price. Seeing the outside view of the restaurant before made me think that I can't afford dining in Pino. But, wrong. Price is really affordable with an extraordinary interior designs. I've been using my credit card for years now, and I would say that I have learned a lot in managing my expenses and prioritizing my needs and wants. I admit, there were times where I thought I went over board in my spending, but good thing, I learned how to handle it quickly. Right now, I am still using my credit card, but I am much aware now of my responsibilities after swiping.
Being responsible. That's the key. In the business world point of view, bankruptcy should be avoided by managing the finances carefully. But, in case the business is struggling with debt, they can apply for IVA or Individual Voluntary Arrangements that will help them clear their debts, as the IVA will cut your debt from 50-70%. It will also freeze the interests that you are paying and will prevent creditors in taking legal action against you. Good thing there is IVA that could help you come clean and start again. So, before declaring for bankruptcy, think again. Yes, you will lose all your debts, but you will also lose all your properties.
Money easily come and go. Whether in business of personal use, we should keep track and manage our income and expenses, prioritize our projects, and you will see a well-balanced cash flow.

I love music. I think the whole family does. I can still remember the first time my father bought a karaoke at home, and we are just so thrilled. We sang everyday with the cassette tape that was also included in the package. My father also bought a Beatles cassette tape, and the whole family became a Beatles fan too. I can even sing some of their songs at this moment.
I remembered how much I wanted to know how to play the guitar, the organ, the piano and all other musical instruments. I also wanted to take voice lessons then. That's how much I love music.
That's why, singing 2 songs in a band the other week is really a dream come true for me. I've always wanted to sing in a band, have my own set of instruments with my band mates. I dream of having one of those Garages as our haven, where we can practice every week before our gig.

I admit that I have probably visit thousands of shopping sites over the net, though I never really do my shopping online for several reasons. Some online stores do not deliver in this part of the world, and all I could do is just die with envy. Just like what my cousins told me about thanksgiving deals where you can really save a lot of money in your shopping. Anyone got a life insurance? What’s a good life insurance company you can suggest? I still don’t have one yet, just a health insurance. They said, that before you get 30, you should have a life insurance already. There’s already one company that discussed an insurance to us, and I just find it very expensive. Aside from dreaming of having a food business, another business fantasy of mine is on real estate. I heard, there's really money on it. If only I have enough funds, I have already bought lands and maybe build a building for business, or probably an apartment, or a house. Well, these are just dreams, and there's no harm on it. I believe that buying lands is a very good investment.

I think I started drinking wine (the local one) at a very young age. I was desperate in getting weight then, (yes, I want those days back) and I heard that wine can help me get some weight. That explains why I love red wine now, and probably that explains my weight now. Now I know who the culprit is.
My mom loves both the red and white wine too, and I always buy her a bottle of it every time I go home. They said it’s good for the heart. No wonder, people are drinking wine when they are broken hearted, hoping that wine can heal. Hehehe.
I want to try eating my favourite steak with wine one of these days, maybe sometime by the end of this month. Any suggestions of a good steakhouse here?

Those who are buying properties abroad, you may need to really prepare a bigger budget for that. Have you seen the episode of Balitang K the other week? The one with a topic of women who undergo surgery just to make themselves look good. There are gays who really looked like a very sexy woman. With all the Boob Job and face lift that was performed to him, no wonder a guy can really be deceived with his looks. And did you see Madam Auring? Gosh, she feels so beautiful! I think she got addicted to surgeries at a very young age, and even at her age right now, she still wants her nose done! Can someone tell her how awful she looks? Excuse me for being rude, but I am just being honest.

2008 is said to be a good year for business, and personally, I want to have a food business ever since. But, the number one question is, do I have funds and the capital I need to start one? Health Insurance, Do You Have One?At last, our individual health insurance is currently in process after waiting for quite awhile since our Admin had a canvass on the best and affordable insurance. I also include my parents for their health insurance because it will be a great help for them especially that they have this regular check up. Some may say that this kind of insurance is a waste of money since it's possible that we don't go to doctors in a year, but I tell you, have you also thought the bills you have to pay when you will be hospitalized? There are two things I learned today; that there are such things like a "diaper cake" and a "bath lift". The sound of diaper cake sounds yummy, but no, it's not edible. It's a cake made of baby stuffs like diapers, towel, bottles, etc. and it can get high as a real cake and looks like a real cake too. It's a unique gift idea you can give to babies.
A bath lift is also designed to help with safe transfers in and out of the bathtub. This will be a great help to all oldies out there and this will eliminate your fear of slipping and falling in the bathroom.

Something To Smile AboutA cheap pair of earrings, clean nails, a new pair of sandals... simple things that made me smile today. I could have bought that gold bangle and that Girbaud wallet if my frugality did not strike. Thanks God, I have that attitude within my genes. I love Britney Spears as a performer before. And I thought, life is so good for her that she gets whatever she wanted. Beauty, fame, fortune, talents? She got it all. But, I don't know what happened somewhere down the road that she just wasted everything that she had. I thought she will redeemed herself after her drug rehab, but, WRONG. I know she's a disappointment to a lot of people who looked up to her. Maybe, with all the fame and fortune she got at an early age, she forgot about what's really important in life.

Lately, my sleeping habit is in a mess. My sleeping habit now is in normal as I get sleepy at 10pm - 12pm but the abnormal part is I wake up at around 4AM, so basically, I still lack of sleep. There was also a time where I get sleepy early in the morning, like 7AM. Good thing, my room has a roller shades that will block sun rays or else, I will have difficulty in sleeping because of too much light.
I am really hoping it will be normal soon. It's really a pain.

One thing I love in going to trade show exhibits is that you will discover a lot of beautiful things that were done out of creativity, very unique ideas and not to mention, a best buy since most of the products displayed are just affordable.
The last time I went to an exhibit, I saw some table covers and table cloths that really caught my attention. It's not your ordinary table covers since they customize these cloths according to your taste; the colors and the designs and all. They can even put logos in it in case it's for company's use.

Here’s something I learned today about golf balls while reading some articles in the net. No, I don’t play golf, and even have no idea on the rules of the game, though I tried playing golf online and didn’t enjoy it. Hehehe. Ok, back to what I learned. There are two categories of golf balls: the recreational and advanced balls. Recreational balls are for ordinary golfer and the advanced balls are obviously for the pro. Now, can someone bring me to the golf course and teach me how to play? :)

Everytime I get bored and tired of work, all I do is check for online games. Currently my favorites are Zuma and all those word games (like Book Worm and Text Twist) out of thousands available games in the net. This is our ultimate dream travel... Europe! I would really love to tour around Europe someday, and explore beautiful places there. Even if I haven't been there, I am already in love with the place by just reading about Europe and seeing beautiful pictures and of course stories from people who were lucky enough to step foot of the place. I even love to see movies that were shoot in Europe that showcased lovely places there including luxurious hotels in Rome, hotels in Florence Italy, hotels in Milano Italy and Venice hotels. Some of the movies I remembered that were shot in Europe are the following: Only You, Italian Job, Roman Holiday, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, American Werewolf in Paris, Blood and Chocolate, Amelie, Life is Beautiful, The Dreamers, Wicker Park, Euro Trip and Love Actually. And not to mention, our local movie "Milan" starring Claudine Barretto and Piolo Pascual. KC Conception also showed us her world through "Paris to Pinas". Well, I am sure, there are still a lot of movies that I haven't mentioned.
I also checked some Hotel reviews in the Internet and mostly, there hotels have romantic setting, so those who are planning to have their vacation, Europe should be the on top of your list for destination. (If money is not an issue to you) Family and friends who have been there told me that Europe has really a romantic air... and I believe them! Do you remember the movie While You Were Sleeping? Sandra Bullock there loved to go to Florence Italy, and after seeing that movie, I really looked that place in our Encyclopedia and surely, the place is so beautiful!
Europe, Europe, Europe... Hopefully, before I get 30, this dream will be realized. For the meantime, I’m gonna travel within Asia first. Europe can wait. ;)

I think we all experienced being "short" in money. Maybe, you have an unexpected expenses like on emergency cases perhaps, or probably been really wanting to buy that shoes and dress, or probably, a grand vacation that you've been really dreaming... the possibilities are endless. After hearing a lot about this place, atlast, I had my super-busog dinner there last night with some friends. I like the place, it's cozy. So, how was the food? We ordered fish (was it tuna belly?), kinilaw, sisig and lechon kawali. The fish is so-so and the lechon kawali is ok, but the kinilaw and sisig are remarkable! Ethel can't get over with the taste of super yummy kinilaw and probably having his lunch there today. Hehehe. If not with the food, Cating could have blacklisted them with their slow service. Alas is now not allowed to go to a certain part of the place where the FREE TASTE of cookies is located ( Joke!) ... And me? I just wish I am not that super sleepy when I had my dinner there. I think I could have appreciated more or critic the food seriously if not with my condition. I haven't tasted any of their baked products yet, but really looks yummy to me even with my sleepy eyes last night.
I'm gonna try their cake and pastries one of these days. And I hope they will not disappoint me... or else, a negative review in my blog! Hahaha!

Aside from Manny Paquiao's fight, I also look forward in seeing the Oscar De La Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. rematch that will probably happen sometime this September. No definite place and date yet, but, definitely, the rematch will happen. If you can remember, Floyd Mayweather Jr. won by split decision over Oscar De La Hoya in 12 rounds. And I was really sad with that outcome.
Now, I am hoping for the best for De La Hoya this coming September. I heard that fans are now reserving Mayweather vs De La Hoya tickets as early as January. I don't really know the technical details on their skills; I just like the Oscar De La Hoya over Floyd Mayweather because he plays cool. And that's one thing I like with Manny Pacquiao too. I hope their being good sports and gentleman will stay even if they are earning millions of dollars already. I heard that during last year's game, Floyd Mayweather Jr earned $25 million for that fight and the said fight set the record for the most pay-per-view buys for a boxing match. Around $120 million in revenue was generated by the pay-per-view and people are expecting that this record will be doubled this September. Well, let’s see.

I already mark it on my calendar. Dinner dates will be moved earlier. Watching the trailer made me cry already. I think KC played a rich daughter turned poor when her father died (played by Ricky Davao) and her mother got sick (played by Agot Isidro).
We always have this picture of KC as a princess and a fashionista, so, it will really be exciting to see how she will look like wearing simple dress and appearing poor.
Before going to a vacation, me and my friends really do our homework first and search for a-must place to visit, food to eat, and a good place to stay. We usually check for reviews, and pictures and make sure that we can book a place with a reasonable price.
So, here's a great site that I found that have great and real reviews for hotels from real travelers: TripTake.com. One thing I like about their service or site is that it's just so simple (no extra ads) and easy to navigate, unlike some other sites. They have great reviews mostly on Europe hotels like hotels in Venice, hotels in Rome, Milan hotels and Florence Italy hotels. There is also a location map via Google Map available in the site and you can check the availability time of the hotel. So, instead of hopping from one hotel site to another, you can just check their site and it’s already like browsing 100 or more hotel sites. Whatever information you like to know in each hotel (like hotel policies, amenities, dining, photos), you can pretty much get it here.

Blahhbing On This Early Monday MorningBeing alone at home is not that new to me and so is being independent. I have work that keeps me really busy and keeps me company that I only go home basically for sleep. But, last weekend was different and I stayed home (read: my rented room) longer than the usual. It feels weird to be idle sometimes though it feels good at the same time too, and my expired WIFI is a blessing for giving me a reason not to open my laptop at home.
Idleness makes me try to face my demons and tests my courage and check how much I have grown. It's like revisiting on a familiar trail and looking your self again while memories of the worst day of your life flashed on a big screen. A self-confrontation may not be easy but, getting used-to on the reality and living with it works with me.
Does being awake at 2AM makes me a melodramatic fool?
My room mates: my cute stuff toys and my black duo: an iPod and my powerful speaker. I love them today more than ever.

Beautifying HomeI always enjoy talking with my mother about home decorations, our next project at home, and how to beautify it more. Since budget is limited, we only do small projects one at a time, and our focus now is our kitchen. Just months ago, we had our kitchen floor tiled. Then, next thing to do is our sink. I suggested to my Mom that I have seen stainless steel Kitchen Sinks, and I love its look and feel... It's so easy to clean, durable, and of course, affordable. The look of under mont stainless sinks just add class of the kitchen.
Can't wait for this project! And I hope we can have it within this month! :)

Viva Espanya!Another country in my list of a-must place to visit is Spain. Spanish culture is not that far from what we Filipinos have especially that we are a colony for 333 years. We even use a lot of Spanish words and Spanish names and they even introduced Christianity to us. So, who wouldn't be interested of Spain?
In my list, I want to visit Costa Brava that is well known for its beaches and resorts with a scenic coastline and stay in the finest Costa Brava Hotels. Next stop will be Costa Del Sol and let the Costa Del Sol Hotels arrange my excursions.
There is so much great and interesting places to go in Spain. Also in my list is Benidorm and stayed in a posh Benidorm Hotels, or, any of Alicante Hotels, and most especially visit Barcelona, and choose on one of the Barcelona Las Ramblas Hotels for my accommodation.
So, wanna join me in my trip to Spain? Don’t worry, it’s not in the near months yet, so, we really have enough time to prepare financially. ;)

I Need An AirConAircon for me at this time of the year (going to SUMMER season) is a NEED, not just a WANT. It's just so hot in my room and I can't sleep! If only:
- Electric bills are just affordable
- My landlady allows an aircon in the room
- I have a budget for aircon (read: nag sobra-sobra ang kwarta)
I could have bought an aircon already. But, at the look of it, it's kinda impossible to have one. Antos galore nalang, til the rainy season comes!

Especially that I am always connected in the Internet, I always make sure that I am protected from viruses, spyware and any other security threats. That's why, I installed Norton Anti Virus in my PC to make sure that I am protected. You can buy it online for a very reasonable price and you can have a norton antivirus download right away. The new features on their newest release is that it has an improved performance (faster scans), it has a one click access to expert support, works quietly in the background and network mapping provides a view of your home network. Honestly, I can say that the amount you will be paying is just very small, compare to what you will be getting from the product.
So, if you don't have an anti virus in your PC now, you better act before it's too late.

As much as I wanted to sleep normally, that is, sleep at nighttime, and work during day time, but, I can't for the following reasons: A lot of my colleagues also love this schedule, so I have to go with the flow; and since my clients (naks) are from the other side of the world and they are awake on these hours, so I have to be also awake too so as not to miss opportunities. GETS? Did I atleast, end your suspicions?
Anyways, today is a happy day. Got a new client. ;)

Have you tried moving out from one place to another? If you do, I am sure that you experienced all the hassles it takes when you are in that situation. If you are moving in a small scale, that is, you are just transferring to few blocks away, I think it will be less hassle compare to moving internationally! Can you imagine the headache it will cause you?

For Some Reasons...I can't receive email notifications from my blog's comment and I just realized it today. Maybe because of all the tweaking I've done in my email settings. Oh well, I don't have time to fix this at the moment. My schedule is crazy because of work. Maayo nalang ni, kay busy of work, compare to other people, busy in messing up other people's lives.
Enough with negative energy. I just want to focus on what I am doing, be happy with it and be expert with it. And at the end of my day, I just really want to smile.

Who doesn't love to be at the top of the rank? Whether ranking in a class, at work, in a government position, or any other organization, we always wanted to be top. In the World Wide Web, I am sure, you've heard about Google Page Rank, and Alexa. Website owners are working hard to be top of those ranking system. But, have you heard of RealRank? This is a pretty new ranking system by IZEARanks and this early, I am loving it.
RealRank utilizes the IZEA Toolkit (ITK) and it weights blogs on the following manner: 70% on daily unique visitors, 20% by daily active inbound links and 10% by daily page view as reported by ITK. This is better than any ranking system since it gets more accurate statistical data collected directly form the source.
So if you want to know how your Blog Ranks using RealRank, you need to sign up and embed a code in your blog and see how you stand with other blogs. I am happy since my blog is in the top 60% so far, and I am hoping to be on top one of these days. Well, who knows, my ranking is getting closer and closer to the top everyday!

BetrayalSHATTERED, furious, resentful, heartbroken, numb, humiliated, rejected, hurt, and NOT SAFE – these are just some of the feelings we experience when we’ve been betrayed.
So what is betrayal? Usually, what comes out in our mind is INFIDELITY. But, betrayal comes in different forms:
- A friend knowingly breaks a confidence that causes hurt and loss of reputation;
- A spouse professes love and loyalty while involved in an emotional affair outside the marriage;
- A boss or organization pretends to be honest and fair while manipulating employees to exploit their talents
These are just some of the few instances where one can experience betrayal and this could cause trauma in one's life.
Life can be really cruel sometimes.

As you can see, I've been blogging more on travels lately and that's because, this year should be a "travel" year for me. And the first thing to do is list all the places that I wanted to go, research about the place and maybe, sooner or later, I will be able to visit all of them. So, as an additional in my list, I really wanted to go to London... and visit the queen! Hehehe. Well, who doesn't?
The first in my a must-see in London is the Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and Tower of London and feel like one of the royalties! Of course, I have to choose from one of the London City hotels for my accommodation. I can pick Central London Hotels, London Victoria Hotels and London Piccadilly Hotels and live like a princess during my vacation. And my vacation will not be complete if I will not visit Oxford Street and Harrods for my shopping.

Syeet. Gisungog Ko.I am supposed to go home early tonight because I still have to pack my things because I am going to my home sweet home tomorrow, and I am sooo tired and sleepy. But, work and opportunities keep me staying and working until now. Syeet, na rattle ko sa mga bugs that I am working plus a pool of opportunities are showing, but I ended up taking only one of them.
Oh well, ana jud ang life.

Drug addiction nowadays is very much rampant in our society today, especially to the teenagers. I do believe that the family or the parents has a very big responsibility in molding their children and watch them grow to be a good citizen. Generally, people that are into drug addiction have family problems. But, I still believe there are still hopes to those who are addicted to drugs, and I believe that sending them to Drug Rehab will do them good. There's a campaign before that says: "Save the user, jail the Pusher" and I hope a lot of pushers were really jailed and pushers were saved. But, do we have a decent drug rehab here?
Those who are sent to drug rehab should have a full support from the family first and foremost. Second, the patient should accept that she/he is not well, and she/he needs help. They should also help themselves and cooperate on the whole treatment process. And a rehab should not be hospital-like setting, but should be a place that each patient find peacefulness and love, until he/she gets well. She/he should remember the place with happiness, not with bitterness of his past and should be a place that is good for meditation and reflection.

I love trafficNo, not the road traffic, but, traffic in my sites. You certainly don't want to make a site that no one visits but just you. I already done a lot of marketing techniques before, and just a while ago, I signed up at Buzzfuse, a very good avenue to market my sites. Whether you have a blog, a photo or video, Buzzfuse can work with it, and not only that, you have a possibility of earning too. Well, I'm pretty happy that these kinds of services exist! I remembered during our college years that in our field, most of us just hate writing. I can still remember that a lot of us are having a hard time in essay exam because a lot of us prefer a Math type exam (calculations), but we know we can't get away of those essays. So, what do you expect? We always have low grades in those types of exams and so with our research papers. If only we can tell our teachers to just read our minds, then, probably, they will appreciate our ideas. It's just that, we are not good in the presentation part. (excuses! ) When we had our thesis, I can still remember that we really had a hard time making even the introduction part and our adviser always give us back our paper with a lot of corrections in it.
Probably, that's the reason that there are lots of services now that offers custom writing, where you just give them the summary, and they will all do the essay based on your outline. Where was this kind of service when we were in need of one? Heheh. Those were the days... ;)
