Christmas in ManilaMy cough and colds got worst when I came here in Manila. It came to a point that I feel like I am grasping for oxygen! Exagg, but, more or less, it was really a pain in the $@#!!! I had neozep, decolgen and biogesic for three days already and an ascorbic acid to strengthen my immune system. But, nevertheless, my vacation is FUN with the whole family here!

Photo Hunt 5: Light
Don't you just wish that you can get hold of those cumulus clouds? If carrying a one sack of cotton balls is light enough for you, then, imagine for clouds! Hehehe.
I will be out tonight for Christmas dinner with friends, so, I'll probably be late in posting a comment in TNChick's entry for Photo Hunt. But, before I will go, here's another version for my hunt this week. Light... for Christmas Lights!!! Hahaha!!!

I am feeling the holiday rush. Going to the malls and shop, and buy gifts can be very tiring especially this time of the year. But, I am not complaining. I usually go to the mall at daytime para less hassle, since malls start to get crowded at 5pm - up. I don't mind roaming around the mall, comparing prices, checking what's the best brand until I satisfy and convince myself that it will be a best-buy.
As much as I enjoyed shopping for myself, but, shopping for others can be very exciting and challenging for me. If naa pa lang koy sobra-sobra nga kwarta, ako e.grant ang mga wish sa mga tawo... Di ba, ting? ;) But, seriously, giving and sharing something this Christmas certainly gives me a different joy.

Christmas Wish List Part II1. A new chip for my Extreme Magic Sing, preferably, with newer songs. It's not only me who will be happy if I will receive this, but, the whole family! You see, we are a family who loves to sing. Hehehe.
2. A Jansport backpack for traveling, so that I will not be borrowing the one from my sis every time I travel.
3. Gym registration! Hahaha!! I badly need this!! :)
4. An Illustrazio laptop bag. I just saw this in SM the other day, and it has a look and feel of a Samsonite laptop bag. Though this is not really a NEED since I already have a Targus bag for my laptop.
5. A shopping spree!!! Hehehe. Ok, you can buy me a gift check, or if not, cash will do. And I will do the shopping for clothes, shoes and jeans so you will not have a problem getting a size for me. Hahaha!! By the way, where are my Ninongs and Ninangs now? Haven't heard from them in ages. Tsk tsk tsk.

It's officially Christmas since today is the start of the Simbang Gabi. I wasn't able to attend the dawn mass though, but I was able to attend the mass after. The gospel is inspiring, and so as the priest's homily.... Lately, I've been watching shows and listening to stories that inspired me and made me realize that I am such a blessed person. Sometimes, when we are so focus on ourselves, we tend to see and feel the negative side, our needs and our wants, we tend to become so selfish ... and I am guilty of that. I am not saying that we should stop working and striving to get what we want in life, (whatever aspects it maybe) but, just an appreciation of the beautiful things that we are enjoying everyday. And hopefully, I will always be reminded of this everyday, too.
I will be celebrating Christmas with the whole family in Manila, and nothing could be more perfect than that. And I thank God for giving me a beautiful family.

Photo Hunt 4: Small
SMALL for SMALL CROCS! This photo was taken at the Crocodile Farm during my Palawan trip last week. And not only that, I had my experience in carrying one of them in my arms.. and it's really scary!! They said to be sensitive with noise so, we were really silent while touring around the area.

Photo Hunt 3: Long
This is said to be one of the longest and heaviest python in captivity. I saw this during our tour in Bohol, in the town of Albur. It was really scary since we went inside for it to take photos! Who knows if the python is hungry?? I saw a picture of this python eating a piglet. Poor piglet..
The python named Prony is Albur's star and has known to the people as "Live Anaconda of Bohol." Prony, a female python is owned by Mr. Sofronio Salibay. Prony captured the attention of media network GMA 7 who filmed the feeding. According to JingJing Salibay, the lady caretaker, Prony ate cats dogs which should be clean and free of bruises. This "illegal" kind of feeding according to animal welfare rights activists caught the attention of Animal Kingdom and ordered the caretaker to stop feeding Prony with dogs. Animal Kingdom also donated money to raise a sanctuary. ABS-CBN and other media networks, newspapers and magazines have featured Prony. In March 2006, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho's stringer Leo Udtohan went to Albur to film Prony as an important element whereas snakes of its kind became a popular "dish" in other parts of the country.

Back To RealityVacation is over and still my mind is still reminiscing about the great adventure that I had. I am now back to facing my laptop everyday and taking my pending tasks while I was gone. I will be in busy mode for the coming days til I can catch up and can write a detailed entry regarding our vacation.

Blogging while in Vacation III can't sleep early, that's why, I am actively blogging tonight. We were able to rest this afternoon after we had a very tiring trip! But, even if I am tired, and having body pains nevertheless, I am very happy for this experience.
Yes, I am sooooo broke, so I need to work really hard once I am back home. So, kayod nang kayod again, and save for the next adventure;)

I have nothing against getting loans, as long as the funds will be spent to the right purpose, and not just for shopping spree. I am not new to availing loans either, especially when my family has a project. (Like when we bought a lot and a family mini-van). It's also ok to take loans as long as you are responsible in paying your debt to minimize extra expenses.
And also, you have to understand the terms and conditions before taking the loans and read some the different kinds of loans. Like if you want to get your dream house, you might want to check out Homeowner loans and Unsecured loans for your personal needs.

My vacation is almost over, and it's one of the best vacation ever! Palawan is such a beautiful place, rich with friendly people, superb food, enchanting scenery and one of the best beaches in the country... I will be talking more about my vacation when I get home.
