I know I am very early for the next PhotoHunt, but I will be detached from the world wide web in the coming days since I will be in vacation. (and that's the reason I am an early bird)
Ok, this week's theme is RED, and I am showing to you one of our stuff toys (me and my sis). Even when we are all grown up now, we are still crazy about stuff toys :) These cute little things just brighten up our mornings since we share same bed with them :D
Well, I was actually thinking of my red lips, but, I wasn't able to take picture of it. JOKE! Well, hope this will do ;)
As you see, it's still part I and expect a Part II and Part III or even more to come. Paging, all my friends! Here are two of my wishes this Christmas. Some were already reserved, so I will not include here anymore. Heheh. Ok, I want a new pair of Nike shoes, and anything something from Apple store. (Ahhm, a Mac perhaps? Hehehe. I wish! )
Anyways, those who are in the States, you can take advantage of Coupon Chief for your purchases for my gift ;)
As early as now, I want to greet everyone an Advance Merry Christmas! :)
My mood is as gloomy as the weather now... Huhuhu. I've been waiting for this week to come, with a perfect weather on my mind, with me and my fwend at the beach, and do our cam whoring. That picture is a little blurry now, though I still have high hopes to see that clear picture! :D Positive thinker ko! ;)
Yes, I badly needed that vacation and I think I deserve to have that one after working hard for the past days.. (as if! hehe) Well, deserving or not, I just simply need that vacation...
Who haven’t heard about Boston Red Sox Training? I can only die of envy as my cousin told me that she plans to watch the defending 2007 World Series Champion at Spring Training this 2008. She is such a fan, that she became contagious. LOL! Looking at the Boston Red Sox Spring Training Schedule, the team will be playing against Oakland Athletics on April 2, 2008 at McAfee Coliseum Oakland, California. She plans to buy the Red Sox Spring Training tickets with the best seat available for the game (price don't matter for her), and even told me that she'll buy one for me too! Waaa!!! I could really die with envy. But who knows??? Hehehe. There’s no harm in dreaming, right?.. :D
Last November 21, my friend gave birth to a baby girl. It was a smooth delivery as how she described it to me, though it really sounds scary for me. Hehehe. Talawan lang jud ko. :D I am so happy to the new parents! And I am sure, the baby will grow as kikay and as beautiful as her Mom ;)
This is my first entry for the Photo Hunt and this week's theme is HOT. So, here it is! One HOT babe in one HOT summer! LOL!!! No violent reactions, please! This is my blog! Hahahah!
We celebrated Donna's birthday last 17th even if she is not around. We had a super busog meal courtesy of Kuya Ador (tenchu po :) )I sooo love the sinigang and the buko pandan!
Those people who messed up with me were able to witness how evil I can get ( no, I haven't tried killing, that's too kind I guess) for shaking up my life that they regret every single mess they have caused in me.
Nonsense post. I just wanna rant. This will be over tomorrow when I wake up.
I found this acoustic version of my all time fave song...
Everything's so blurry and everyone's so fake and everybody's empty and everything is so messed up pre-occupied without you I cannot live at all My whole world surrounds you I stumble then I crawl
You could be my someone you could be my scene you know that i'll protect you from all of the obscene I wonder what you're doing imagine where you are there's oceans in between us but that's not very far
Can you take it all away can you take it all away well ya shoved it in my face this pain you gave to me Can you take it all away can you take it all away well ya shoved it my face
Everyone is changing there's noone left that's real to make up your own ending and let me know just how you feel cause I am lost without you I cannot live at all my whole world surrounds you I stumble then I crawl
You could be my someone you could be my scene you know that i will save you from all of the unclean I wonder what you're doing I wonder where you are There's oceans in between us but that's not very far
[Chorus]
Nobody told me what you thought nobody told me what to say everyone showed you where to turn told you when to runaway nobody told you where to hide nobody told you what to say everyone showed you where to turn showed you when to runaway
[Chorus]
This pain you gave to me
You take it all You take it all away... This pain you gave to me You take it all away This pain you gave to me Take it all away This pain you gave to me
It's Thanks Giving Day in the US, which explains the less traffic in my sites... I know, I have lots of things to be thankful in my life too... I just need to recognize and count the abundant blessings instead of the misfortunes that happened in my life.
Actually, I've been eyeing this domain for quite awhile already, and just the other day, I bought it as an investment. Ahihihi. Anyways, Blogger already handles all the redirection chuva, so, it's pretty plain once you want to buy a domain on your own for your blogger account. I've been buying my domain/hosting here. So, you may want to check them out in case you want to buy one.
My family friend just came from a grand vacation from Perth Australia, and she really had a blast. Even if this is not her first time, she can't help but keep on talking how perfect her vacation, from planning stage, until she got home. Since this friend of mine is a born traveler, almost all her bookings were made thru DialAFlight, and all her flights to Perth were hassle-free because of the help of the site. And now, she recommends it to everyone in the group!
And one thing that I love when she get home is she never failed to give me something ;)
It seems that yesterday Cebu was hit by a typhoon for just few hours. The wind was soo strong.. Billboards were flying, branches of the trees are everywhere.. Ana ka kusog! So, it was the best time to just curl up in my bed, and watch movie! :D Good thing, I just uploaded movies (that I missed in the big screen) in my iPod. So, this little thing was my bestfriend yesterday til it ran out of battery. (Not so, and brownout pa jud!)
Ok, so here's a song from a feel-good movie that I watched yesterday. :)
Any other feel-good movie? Suggestions please... :D
I have heard talks about business management software of my successful friends who now owned a small to medium sized companies. I have learned a lot from them and feel inspired too from their success stories. Well, they are supportive on my plans in running a business on my own, and gave me advices for free. I am such a lucky person to know these genius people.
And now with my plans on its baby stage, I have so many things to learn, from business terms, to business how-to's and business scenarios that one should not overlook. Ok, so I came across with business management software, and search what it is all about and how it can help with start-up businesses.
One thing nice with my job right now is the FREEDOM that we have, and that means, the very flexible schedule that we have. You can start your day as early as you want, ( I did it once, 6AM to be exact), or you can take the night shift in case you are too drunk the previous night to wake up early. You can also go out anytime you want, you can go shopping, watch movie or sleep in between work. Hehehe. And today, we went out in between work, watch movie, and come back here in the office (which explains why I am still working at this hour) with my partner in crime(labyu ting! :D )
So, here are the famous lines from the movie that we watched:
"She loved me at my worst, you had me at my best, but you chose to break my heart"
"She is single, and very available!"
"No, single, and very happy!"
So, can you guess what movie we just watched? Hehehe. :D
I have so many list of TO-DOs that sometimes, I get pressured by my own expectations. I freaked out and get worried if I am behind schedule, or I haven't started doing something on what I am supposed to do. Call me crazy, but, I always feel that way. I guess I have to stay focus and just simply calm down.
---
Yahooo! I got myself a new toy! Now, I am beginning to feel that I am a gadget person. I will make a separate entry about it soon. But, right now, I have so many things to learn about this new toy of mine;)
---
Ok, time to work, work, and work.
And by the way, I am so happy since some of my sponsored entries were already approved. :D And I need more opportunities...
Ok, it's my second account. I had one years ago and I deleted it since I thought that it's another space in the web that I cannot maintain. But, I decided to have one again just for pictures, but, I will be staying here for my blog. I am a loyal Blogger. :D
No updated pix yet in multiply, buy anyways, here's my link:
When I was a kid, one thing I get excited about is the idea of Santa Claus. Sure, my socks are always full during Christmas with candies and goodies. My sisters and me are the happiest during those time of the year. But now that I am getting older, Coupon Chief is now my Santa Claus.
This Christmas, I will surely do a lot of my shopping at Amazon.com and look for a good deal of products for my family. I will also try to browse at Avon, that offers beauty products and other gift ideas; best gifts I can give to some of my beauty conscious girl friends.
Chika2 while waiting for other peeps and the lechon to arrive. Talks include the coming Christmas gathering, and about sa mga peeps nga wala did2. We sooo miss u guys.
Lechon attack! Actually, we also have sinugbang isda and pork belly for our dinner and breakfast.. No one remembered to take photos kay gutom na kaau . Hehehe.
First game: Exam sa couple on how well they know each other. Pildi si Seth. Hehehe. Even birth place ni Seth, correct si Alvin, but wrong si Seth. Peace Seth. So, to those couples nga plan pa mag minyo, start memorizing dates, likes, dislikes, etc of your partner. Ahihi.
Which one is Alvin's legs? But, wrong ghapon si Seth. Hahaha! Seth got few shots of tequila as her punishment.
Which one is Seth's pinky? Kabisadong-kabisado ni Alvin ;)
Charade (Girls vs. Boys) We lose by 1pt because they cheated! Hahaha!! Best actors: Alvin performing a flower girl, and Kuya Ador for honeymoon. :D
Couple opened their gifts. Seth confused on how to wear the night gown and Alvin got thrilled in the 3 bottles of Lipovitan. ;)
Celebration is not complete without drinking session. Jose Cuervo + Mud Slide + Tanduay + SanMig Light + Vodka Cruiser + Red Horse...
The gang. To Seth and Alvin, best wishes and hopefully, a baby next year! :)
I met lots of testers in my SE life, but, nothing compared to the tester that I am working with now. She is really good in finding bugs! I always get challenge on her ability in looking for loopholes and she really inspires me to strive for "perfection" in what I do. I am always eager to read her replies for the reports on her tests, and wait for "PASSED TESTING, READY TO GO LIVE" message.
Well, this is just one of those days that I received an approval from her for a task that I've been working for quite awhile already. A happy day. :)

This one inspired me so much. Sometimes, when you are down, and hopeless with all the things, all you need is a reminder like this that will give you so much hope and be alive again. Yes, as long as hope and love exist within me, I know I will be fine.
I know, that life is working a beautiful picture for me... and for all of us.
We spent the whole night (til dawn) talking about anything... from lovelife, career, and travel plans!!! Awww... I miss everyone... Especially those who are in other countries. Can't wait for the holidays and see them again! :D
I have a friend of mine who keep talking about shopping on black friday and I can't help but wonder what is she talking about. Ok... so, I found out that black friday is the day after Thanksgiving and it is the day that major retailers are on big sale to help kick off the Christmas shopping season.
So, browsing their site really made me excited, and I am eyeing ToysRUS, AceHardware.com and Tommy Hilfiger for my shopping and of course for gift ideas this Christmas. I am also waiting that the Disney store will be posting an ad soon! I can't wait! I will surely buy stuffs from them that I will give to the kids back home... especially to my baby Chy. I'm gonna tell my relatives (shopaholics like me) about it too, and I know, they will be as thrilled as I am.
If you want to be keep updated, you can subscribe to Black Friday, and they will immediately update you once new ads are being posted. You will certainly be the first one to know if your favorite store is on sale, and not only that, you save yourself from going to the store early in the morning just to do your shopping. Certainly, a hassle-free shopping, and more to that, you are saving a good deal of your budget too. More savings means, more shopping.
One thing I learned in shopping online is that I can save money by checking out the Internet for online discount codes. Now, and I am eyeing for an Overstock coupons and have my shopping spree online. You can check their site and they offer a lot of holiday gift ideas too. So, to all shopaholic like me out there, you may try to check out Overstock coupons and discounts first before shopping and save everytime you shop! Let's be wise shoppers, girls ;)
A small drama today will be a turning point. You're headed toward a major transition in your life, and you need to make the most of it. If you can let yourself be more outgoing right now, you will be able to connect with other people more effectively in a public environment. Too much introspection will make you self-inhibited and shy. It's not about what you're thinking, right now: It's about what other people are thinking. And you should find out what that is.
So, I should stop all these introspections that I've been doing nowadays. :p So, what are people thinking about me? I'm gonna investigate that for sure. Hehehe. Since when did I believe in horoscope by the way? Hahaha!
At my age, it is right time to have an insurance of my own. I am still looking for the best life insurance that gives me the best deals. But, does, everyone appreciate the value of insurance in general? I started to appreciate it last year when a friend of mine met a car accident, and good thing he has his own car insurance. He said that it was just a cheap car insurance that he never thought that will turn out a big help of him. And he is driving a better car now.
They are different kinds of insurance available...there's home insurance, health insurance and car insurance to name a few. Well, we can never tell on what tomorrow brings. And I would say, having an insurance will atleast let you not worry about it.
I was really pissed last week, because I wasn't able to use my internet connection at home. I loaded my weroam before I went home for that sole purpose. And guess what? My weroam says that I can't transmit data. Damn. Good thing, the day before that, I discovered that I can connect to my VM without a connection so, not connecting to internet means no distraction in work.
When I came back here in Cebu, it turned out that it's just the VM configuration that is messing up my Weroam. Oh well. I can't turn back time. Just one good lesson to learn.
All my friends knew that I am a credit card girl and credit card is my best friend (especially when I am sad, hehehe). But, I am happy because I can say that I am already a "mature" credit card user. That is, I know when to say NO even if the mall is tempting because it's on SALE. If it's not within my budget, then, it's really a no-no.
With online shopping now a hype, I would say, a credit card is a necessity. But, of course, having this powerful card entails a lot of responsibility. With different available credit cards in the market now, first, you need to do a credit card comparison. I will advise a 0% credit cards to new users. This means, a 0% interest rate on any purchases that you make, so, you will surely enjoy your shopping spree. There are also credit cards that offers 0% balance transfers, so, you better pick a credit card that suits your needs and your spending style.
Credit card can turn to be your worst nightmare if not used properly. So, be a responsible user, and credit card will be your best friend, like how I see it. :)
I have so many friends and relatives that are outside the country and sometimes, I could only wish that they are just near, and call them whenever I want. But, I can't simply do that. Rates for long distance calls are very high, that's why only important things are discussed over the phone.
But hearing about Pingo really made me excited. They offer a cheap phone card, which you can use in 35 countries. And not only that, you will have $5 worth of free calls! Using this service will surely save you a lot of money and of course the hesitation of calling your friends and family abroad. It's not your usual international prepaid card, because aside from they offer cheap rates, they also give you convenience. They support "sub accounts" for Family or Business plan. This means that all the accounts are managed by one master account so, you are really in control. And I am not done yet in telling how much they value convenience... they also have this feature that will recharge your prepaid calling card automatically once your account reaches $5USD, so you don't have to worry about "I don’t have a load in my prepaid card”.
Pingo also offers special phone card blog discount coupon: “ppp3” valid for $3 off Pingo. Receive $25 phone card for just $17. Isn't this amazing?
Well, I will surely tell my friends and family about this. This is really good news. And I can't wait to talk to my friends over the phone these coming days.
I am new in PHP language, and at first I am hesitant to embrace another vocabulary of my being SE. You see, I have this love-hate relationship of my chosen career. One time, you'll see me cursing on why I am here, digesting 0's and 1's, analyzing and reading a code. And the next thing you will know, is I am glued in my laptop and so engrossed on what I am doing... that is, developing/programming/debugging.
And who wouldn't love to learn PHP when it means more PhP? :p
With the long list you have for Christmas, you surely want to buy best deals in the market so that your budget will fit. Save Buckets launches a new site that will help consumers and shared interesting research into Christmas spending and debt.
Press Release:
GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST HAUNTS INDEBTED BRITS
- New price saving site launches to save Brits up to 20% this Christmas -
As the nation approaches the final countdown to Christmas, new research rings alarm bells over the financial impact of Christmas in credit crunch Britain. The research from the new money saving website Savebuckets.com reveals that as Brits prepare for Christmas, many are still paying off last year’s festive spending.
With 41 per cent of Britons paying for Christmas on credit last year, almost one in five are still paying for last year’s festivities (17%), fewer than one in three having cleared their Christmas debts when their January credit card bill arrived (29%).
Following a year of consumer confidence in 2006, Christmas spending soared 52 per cent in two years (from an average £548 per adult in 2004* to £837 per adult in 2006), with over one in five Brits spending over £1,000 on Christmas last year (22%). This year, with spending power at its lowest level for 10 years**, consumers are feeling the financial hangover from a more confident Christmas enjoyed on the credit card and loans.
Alarmingly, it is cash strapped youngsters and low income earners who, having spent the most on last Christmas, are most likely to be feeling the repercussions of last year’s spending spree (see figures below).
The research into the financial impacts of last Christmas amongst a GB representative sample of 2,000 British adults was carried out by the new money savings website Savebuckets.com which launches this week to enable Brits to get more for their money this Christmas.
With these alarming figures in mind, Savebuckets.com will give shoppers the opportunity to save up to 20% on their Christmas shopping. Putting consumers back in control of their spending, the site searches over 700 retailers for the best price on around one million products. The site includes a unique price checker which allows consumers to set the price they want to pay for items, notifying them when the price of a product falls to within their budget.
It's this time of the year that the city is so quiet and peaceful with no traffic and less vehicles in the street. Ayala Mall was closed yesterday, so, I just stayed home with my sis, eat pizza, watch Friends and Heroes, while working too. :D

She's intelligent and a smart kid. She loves to study, and learn new things. (Well.. Asa man diay liwat? Hehehe). She excels in class and her favorite is the recitation part. (Baliktad mi.) As much as we adore her and love her so much, but she has to taste some doze of discipline sometimes especially when she became unreasonable on her actions. I remembered my Sis asking her like a grown-up if she understood why she is being scolded. She got teary-eyed while saying "I am sorry Mama".
As a woman, I personally have difficulty in choosing gifts for guys during Christmas. Unlike with my girlfriends where I can be really creative and excited as the same time in choosing my Christmas gifts to them. Well, not until I saw this site(www.carguygarage.com) and gave me brilliant ideas. They sell cabinets, workbenches, flooring, and a lot more! These stuffs are surely what guys want, and my gift will be unique, too, not the usual t-shirt or cap, or sweater that guys usually receive. My friends (and my Dad, too) would surely love what I will give to them this Christmas.
While eating at Chowking fastfood, I noticed that they are selling fortune cookies. So, i grab one and I was so excited to read my fortune. (it feels like nagpatagna ni Eloy. Hehehe) And what does my fortune cookie tells me? Tadaaang!!!
Awhaaaaaat?? What does that mean? Can someone interpret it for me? Hahaha!! I have lots of friends that are crazy over "fortune-telling", card-reading, palm reading and all those kinds of stuffs. As long as we don't take those things seriously, I think it's ok. Remember the poem Invictus? You are the master of your fate, the captain of your soul. :)
I am so happy today when I checked my mail. Atlast, my application for payperpost is already approved! I am a payperpost member already! I am so excited about it since they offer lots of opportunities for me to earn while blogging. I learned payperpost from one of my blogmates and all her PayPal earnings are from payperpost. Isn't it amazing? This is a new hype in blogging! Atleast, from now on, I will be blogging some serious topics, and not those nonsense stuffs.
Christmas is fast approaching, and it means, I need extra income for all the shopping I have to do. (So excited thinking about SHOPPING. *grin* ) I know, as early as now, I have to write my Christmas list on what to buy, and payperpost is such an angel to me at this time of the year. And of course, I also want to buy something for myself. I am actually eyeing a perfume from Lacoste and CK, and a pair of sneakers. And, I want that grand vacation too! Maybe to a fancy hotel ( my family spend a day at Waterfront Hotel last year), or a first class resort. Hahhaaha!! I know, I am dreaming, but, with payperpost at my side, who knows this will turn into a reality?
