the chick.bow.have u ever heard of the story
about the chick who flew?
she went up the tree and looked down below
unmindful of the danger and the pain that lurks
she closed her eyes, and dived head first
it was flying for her a split second of bliss
not to feel the ground below her
and only the wind setting the pace
and when she opened her eyes
to see where she's headed
the cold ground struck her
and her inside was opened
her guts spilled on the ground
blood joined her tears and she looked up
and saw him,
smiling a sad smile of defeat
she smiled back
with hope
raised her tattered wings,
bloodied and all
and said in death pale voice
"the flight was worth the fall"
